Glutathione (Glutathione,GSH) is a tripeptide compound synthesized by peptide bond condensation of glutamic acid, cystine and glycine. It is the most important low molecular mercaptan under antioxidant stress in mammal cells. It was discovered in 1921 that the chemical structure was determined in 1930. Dr. Al Mindel, a famous nutrition and health expert in the United States, called glutathion an anti-aging amino acid with three times its efficacy, also known as the antioxidant master of nature. It was colorless, transparent and slender, soluble in water, dilute alcohol, liquid ammonia, dimethyl methyl chemical book amide, and insoluble in ethanol, ether and acetone.
